About Me

faceHello my name is Anthony Colantonio.  First I want to thank you for visiting my webpage.  If you have found your way here, you probably have some health concerns or goals you need assistance reaching.  If you are like most of us, sometimes we need a little extra help.  For me, I know that if I wasn’t sourounded by other motivated people at my gym, I would probably find excuses why I shouldn’t work out today.

A little about my journey…

I first became interested in health after facing some life threatening issues in my own life.  In 2010, doctors found a blood clot in my right leg which left me hospitalized for serveral weeks.  When the explained the seriousness of this diagnosis, I began to lose all hope.  The doctors explained that without living on blood thinners another clot could form and possibly move to my lungs or my brain.  I knew I did not want to live on blood thinners forever so I would need to find a more natural approach.  I found out that food and nutrition play more of a role in how are bodies work and why its so important to keep them working at an optimal level.

In 2011, I found myself in the hospital yet again.  I was experiencing several pain in my lower back.  I was diagnosed with four 9mm kidney stones.  After taking the strongest pain medication and a futile atempt at having them shattered, I finally had to have them lasered.  I spent many hours researching what creates the stones and how to prevent this from happening again.  It seems I was successfully.  After testing me twice, my doctor say he was ready to change my diet to prevent the stones from returning, but he told me he did not know what I was doing, but to keep doing because there was not trace of anything returning and my kidneys were healthier than they were at the beginning of the testing.

My coaching typically starts with a free health history, so that I can get to know you a little better.  In turn, you will get to feel more comfortable and a little more motivated.
